The Axial Directory pages generate over 1 million page views every year. Having an online presence is key to winning new business, and lucky for you, Axial ranks at the top of most google searches for M&A firms, allowing you to market your firm. 

Rankings on Axial’s directory pages are based on two things. 

1. The number of deals your firm has closed with an Axial member. Click here to learn how to provide deal status updates on the platform.
2. The number of tombstones your firm has on your Company Profile 

The more closed deals and tombstones you have on your profile, the higher you will rank on Axial’s directory pages, and thus the more page views your firm’s page will generate.

Requesting an Axial Closed Deal Badge

Axial members who have successfully completed a transaction with another Axial member are eligible to receive an Axial Verified Closed Deal Badge on their profile.

• Log in to your Axial account.
• Navigate to you Company Profile 
• Click on the Add Transaction/Tombstone button

 

• Fill in the details of the transaction. If you wish to leave the company name or counterparty private, you can type “Anonymous.”
• Select the We connected with the acquirer, capital provider, or service provider through the Axial platform button.

 

• Once you click submit, a member of the Axial team will verify that the transaction was completed with an Axial counterparty and add an Axial closed deal badge to your profile. See below for an example.

There will also be a tombstone added to the Transactions section of your profile. 

Adding a tombstone to your Axial directory page (not closed with an Axial counterparty). 

 

The transactions you add a tombstone for can include all the transactions you have completed, regardless of whether or not you sourced the counterparty via Axial. Adding these deals to your profile helps increase validity on the platform and demonstrates to page visitors that you are an established firm.

• First, log in to your Axial account
• Navigate to you Company Profile 
• Click on the Add Transaction/Tombstone button

• Fill in the details of the transaction. If you wish to leave the company name or counterparty private, you can type “Anonymous.”
• Do NOT click the We connected with the acquirer, capital provider, or service provider through the Axial platform button.
• Click Submit.

Your Axial page will now have a tombstone on the Transactions section of the page for that deal. These tombstones do not need to be verified by a member of the Axial team and so will appear immediately.
